Greener Harvests: Innovative Agriculture in the UAE

As a child, Ali learned to love gardening from his mother. Her teaching led Ali Naqash Absai to a lifelong commitment to sustainable agriculture. More than just a relaxing hobby, cultivating the earth provides Ali with a deep connection to nature and inspires his work. 

With such devotion to the land, it’s easy to see why Ali is enthusiastic about combining science with nature. Currently serving as the Farm Operations Manager for Veggitech, an advanced farming facility located in the UAE desert, Ali manages day-to-day productivity, including state-of-the-art growing systems such as the indoor vertical farm, net house, high-tech greenhouse, and tandem poly-house, to name a few.
