The Climate Tribe is buzzing for World Bee Day! We’re excited to highlight the bees this year, with upcoming beekeeping courses, the installation of new beehives, and learning more about the incredible relationship between bees and our local environment.
From ancient beekeeping to modern scientific research, bees and humans have been interacting in our shared ecosystem for millennia. Current studies are exploring the vibroacoustics of beehives which may be an indicator of hive health. New research into the relationship between those sounds and human wellbeing found that the buzzing of bees may slow aging and explain the ‘long life’ effects observed in beekeepers over the ages.
In partnership with the bees, The Climate Tribe is embarking on a journey of discovery, and everyone is invited to join us and share the buzz.
