Seasonal weather impacts every corner of the globe. In the deserts and wadis of the UAE, seasonal rain changes the environment significantly. What was once a dry riverbed, in just minutes, becomes a rushing river. Between the rolling dunes lie pools of water that aren’t absorbed by the desert easily.
These extreme changes impact not only humans but also the wildlife that inhabits these areas, from the smallest insects to the largest mammals. As the weather patterns constantly shift and change, so do our ecosystems, shaking off the old and discovering what’s new.
