Rachel Redfern

Rachel Redfern’s love of wildlife, astrophotography, and travel keeps her outdoors, camping and exploring as many dunes, mountaintops, and coastlines as possible. As a witness to the effects of climate change on wildlife habitats, Rachel has become a passionate (sometimes overly vocal) advocate for conservation, ethical consumption, and eco-friendly tourism. As a creative writer, editor, and storyteller with over ten years of experience, Rachel has worked as an assessment specialist, film and TV critic, and pop culture contributor. Through her work as a sustainability and diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate, she’s also written for numerous publications. A California native, Rachel has lived in South Korea, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, settling for the moment in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
