MC Huneycutt

MC has spent the past decade exploring the Middle East - primarily Lebanon and, more recently, the UAE. Her career has focused on refugee education and protection, working with communities from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine and Jordan. She is passionate about providing critical resources to vulnerable and affected communities, be those communities affected by conflict, poverty or climate crises. MC has a background in literature and creative writing and loves language, stories and the transformative nature of literature and storytelling. She enjoys biking and hiking, creating from scratch in the kitchen, and trying to convince people she’s a native Arabic speaker (they typically figure it out after 5 minutes).
