Ali Bin Thalith

Ali Khalifa bin Thalith is an award-winning Emirati photographer specialising in underwater photography. In 2010, bin Thalith won the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Supporting Youth Projects ‘Best Project in the Field of Marketing and Promotion in 2010.’ In 2018 he was awarded ‘Photographer of the Year’ (alongside Swiss Photographer Marc Dana) by the Chinese International Festival - Power of the Image, for his continued commitment to preserving marine life and nurturing the culture of photography in the Middle East. Throughout his career, Bin Thalith has participated in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally, culminating in the launch of his first book in 2015, "Truly Madly Deeply." This book was quickly followed by his first Arabic publication, "Underwater Photography Without Secrets." Today, Ali bin Thalith continues to be an active member of the Emirati Wildlife Program.
