Ajay Sawant

Ajay Sawant is an award-winning ocean-climate communicator and a NAAEE EE 30 Under 30 honoree. As the founder of Generation Artivism and President of ThinkOcean Society, he leads impactful initiatives in marine conservation and ocean literacy across six countries. Ajay also serves as the Media Director at Bow Seat and a Strategic Communications Advisory Board Member for the UN Ocean Decade. Through his work with World Ocean Day, The Ocean Project, National Geographic Society, High Seas Alliance, EarthEcho International, and Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Programs, Ajay has supported diverse efforts in marine conservation. His work spans youth artivism projects, development of educational toolkits, policy advocacy, and awareness campaigns, all aimed at fostering community-driven solutions to ocean challenges.
