Mangrove Tree Planting Series

Take part in an incredible planting session at Al Jubail Mangroves in Abu Dhabi. This interactive outdoor activity is a great way to support the UAE ecosystem while enjoying nature.

Participants will get the chance to connect with the environment and assist in mangrove tree-planting efforts, which is a crucial part of our planet’s carbon-neutral future.

The day starts with a short awareness session, where you’ll learn more about how important mangroves are to our ecosystem. Then, prepare to get your hands muddy!

Reminders: 

  • Please be at location by 3:45pm latest
  • Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy (we recommend water shoes).
  • Bring sun protection such as hats, sunscreen and sunglasses. 
  • Bring reusable water bottles. We have water dispensers, but no plastic water bottles. 
  • Toilet facilities will be available at the meeting point.
  • Feel free to bring a change of clothes and a towel (changing facilities will be available).

  • 3:45 PM - Arrival
  • 4:00 PM - Welcome Speeches
  • 4:15 PM - Planting Begins
  • 5:10 PM - Closing Notes
  • 5:30 PM - Wrap up and departure
