Mangrove Tree Plantation Series

Participants will get the chance to connect with the environment and assist in mangrove tree-planting efforts, which is a crucial part of our planet’s carbon-neutral future. 

The day starts with a short awareness session, where you’ll learn more about how important mangroves are to our ecosystem. Then, prepare to get your hands muddy! 

After working together to plant beautiful seedlings, you’ll take a tour through the mangroves on our incredible kayak adventure.

Reminders: 

• Please be at location by 7:40am latest
• Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy (we recommend water shoes).
• Bring sun protection such as hats, sunscreen and sunglasses. 
• Bring reusable water bottles / flasks. We have water dispensers, but no plastic water bottles. 
• Toilet facilities will be available at the meeting point, but not during the kayaking trip. 
• You will get wet as you paddle and when getting out of the kayak – please bring a change of clothes and a towel in case (changing facilities will be available).

• 7:45 AM - Arrival
• 8:00 AM - Welcome Speeches
• 8:30 AM - Jump into kayaks!
• 9:00 AM - Reach planting site, briefing and tree planting 
• 9:45 AM - Return to the beach by kayaks
• 10:00 AM - Wrap up and departure
