The core of Who we are
At our purpose-led storytelling and experience studio we deliver creative and production services for organisations, using sustainability-conscious practices.
Abu Dhabi's first dedicated sustainability hub is a community space where climate action comes to life through workshops, events and collaborative programming.
Our digital platform features original stories that inform, inspire - and connect people to key environmental issues.
Founded and led by Her Highness Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, The Climate Tribe began in 2023 as a social enterprise dedicated to driving creativity, shaping culture and changing behaviour through storytelling. Since then, it has launched a thriving community hub and worked with organisations to bring their sustainability goals to life through content and experiences.

To be recognised locally and regionally for creative excellence that moves people, shapes culture, and is delivered with integrity and care for people and planet.
To translate environmental commitments and sustainability strategy into action through responsible content production, education, and purposeful activations that lead to tangible, lasting impact.
To lead the transition to a climate-resilient and sustainable economy through collective action and measurable impact.

The UAE and its leaders have a long tradition of sustainability, and of living in hamony with the natural environment. The Climate Tribe, together with its partner organisation Frontier25, are carrying forward these values by launching strategies and initiatives that help advance progress towards the country's net zero and sustainability goals.
The Climate crisis is a borderless challenge - which is why we highlight inspiring stories of climate heroes from around the world. We are globally connected, and work with partners in many countries to support wider sustainability goals.
For people to take action, they need to connect with a cause. We use authentic, community-centric narratives, values and traditions across all our projects, because only then can we build trust, drive engagement - and ultimately enact change. We live our values by using sustainable practices across all our work.
Our work represents the vital link between policy and actual, on-the-ground change. We develop storytelling narratives, design engagement and deliver creative content, converting policies into programmes that shift community behaviour - and ultimately drive change.

Renewable energy
Our studio and hub operations prioritise clean energy sources wherever possible. From powering film sets to running community workshops, we choose sustainable energy solutions that reduce our carbon footprint.
Low-emissions transportation
We use hybrid and electric vehicles for equipment transport, crew movement, and community event logistics.
Eco-friendly materials
From film sets to workshop supplies, we source materials that are recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable. This extends to everything from props and packaging to the supplies we use in our community programmes.
Zero-waste
Our projects integrate comprehensive waste management from day one. Whether we're filming a documentary or hosting a composting workshop, we aim for zero landfill contribution through recycling, composting, and waste reduction.
Conserving water
We employ water-saving techniques across all our operations - from equipment cleaning to event catering.
Digital-first
Paperless workflows, virtual pre-production meetings, and digital distribution help us reduce our environmental impact while staying connected to our global community.
Our partner organisation - Frontier 25 - is a climate action advisory that is transforming our climate and growing the green economy by turning ambition into tangible progress.
